Ingredients

  • 500 g Bread flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup yoghurt or buttermilk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 10 g Instant yeast

Instructions

  • Add luke warm milk to a bowl
  • Add tothe milk yeast and sugar
  • Cover the milk with a cloth for about 10 minutes and let the yeast activatee
  • After 10 minutes add the remaining ingredients to the milk and mix, the nknead
  • If using a mixer, mix for about 7 minutes till its smooth
  • If using hands knead for about 10 minutes
  • Cover the dough with a cloth and plate or with cling film and let it sit at a warm place till it has doubled in size

Forming the rolls

  • After the dough has risen, divide it into three equal parts
  • Take one part and cover the rest
  • Form a disk out of the dough, divide it into 8 part and roll in from the larger part to the small part
  • Put the rolls on a parchment paper in a baking tray and let the double
  • Brush the rolls with an egg or milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  • bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes or till the rolls are golden brown
