Proja (Serbian corn bread)

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Polenta or corn flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ Cup Oil
  • 2 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Cup Youghurt
  • 150 g Feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Sour cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C
  • With an electric mixer whip eggs for about three minutes
  • Add the oil and whisk
  • Add yoghurt and sour cream, and whisk
  • Add flour, corn flour, baking powder and mix
  • Add feta cheese and mix with a rubber spatula
  • Pour batter into a prepared baking dish
  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until its golden brown
  • Let it cool for about 10 minutes and enjoy
